Youth Homelessness Communities of Practice
If you work with young people impacted by homelessness in London, why not join a community of practice group to work with cross-sector partners to explore how we can improve the support available to young people, together.
Following a successful event taking place in June delivered by New Horizon Youth Centre in partnership with Haringey Council and Project Futures, which brought together staff and young people from services across London to explore best practice, discuss challenges, and see how we might take the conversation forward, we set up four community of practice groups.
The groups meet quarterly and include members from London local authorities, voluntary sector organisations, the GLA and DLUHC. We are working on four areas:
Rough sleeping – Sign up here
Homelessness prevention and statutory responses – Sign up here
Frontline practice development – Sign up here
Commissioning – Sign up here
You can sign up to any of these groups using the links above or for more information please email tessa.kirby@nhyouthcentre.org.uk.
